North Sinai archaeological Sites Zone is part of the Tentative list of Egypt in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The North Sinai archaeological Sites Zone comprises the Mediterranean Coastal strip between the Suez canal and Gaza. The area saw Persian, Greek and Roman invaders as well as travelling Egyptian pharaohs. The sites may include the rock art of Wadi al-Zulma and the al-Farma archaeological area (“a stop on the path of the Holy Family”).
